The Senators play out of Ottawa, Ontario and are part of the North East division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League. They are the current Eastern Conference champions and were the runners up in the 2007 Stanley Cup Finals. Famous for their rivalry against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the team has a loyal fanbase. Their logo is that of a roman soldier. As of August 2007 the senators unveiled a set of new jerseys.
