Edmonton Oilers
A team commonly known for being part of the “Battle of Alberta”, the Edmonton Oilers are Alberta’s second NHL team. Having seen five Stanley Cup wins, this team has also had many Conference and Division Championships. The Oilers was also the first NHL team to sign Wayne Gretzky, who saw five Stanley Cup wins with the team. The team jersey has remained consistently similar, with only a few colour changes occurring; however an alternative jersey and logo were created by the Oilers co-owner and Spawn creator Todd McFarlane. Craig MacTavish is the current head coach, and the line up consists of: Mathieu Garon, Dwayne Roloson, Matt Greene, Dick Tarnstrom, Steve Staios, Joni Pitkanen, Mathieu Roy, Denis Grebeshkov, Sheldon Souray, Tom Gilbert, Geoff Sanderson, Shawn Horcoff, Robert Nilsson, Andrew Cogliano, Raffi Torres, Jarret Stoll, Ethan Moreau, Marty Reasoner, Dustin Penner, Fernando Pisani, Kyle Brodziak, Tyler Spurgeon, Marc-Antoine Pouliot, Ales Hemsky, and Sam Gagner.
