Adam-X

Adam X is coming to a venue near you with an uncompromising techno sound that has helped shape the underground electronic music scene for more than three decades. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Adam X is a DJ, producer, label owner, and one of the defining figures in American techno history. Beginning in the early 1990s, he played a central role in the emergence of East Coast rave culture alongside his brother Frankie Bones and Heather Heart. Together they founded Groove Records, one of the first American record stores dedicated exclusively to techno, before launching Sonic Groove Records, a label that has become an internationally respected home for techno, EBM, and industrial music.

Throughout his career, Adam X has developed a distinctive sound that fuses acid techno, industrial techno, EBM, and experimental electronic music. His catalogue includes albums such as Audiobiography, The Marking of Time, State of Limbo, Irreformable, Recon Mission, and Acid Archives, as well as recent releases including Memory Prisms. Beyond his solo work, he has created projects including Traversable Wormhole, ADMX-71, The Secret Initiative, X-Crashed, Mass-X-Odus, and Maedon-X, while also collaborating with Perc as AX&P. These projects highlight his ongoing commitment to innovation and genre exploration.

Since relocating to Berlin in 2007, Adam X has continued to expand Sonic Groove Records while performing at leading clubs and festivals around the world, including the legendary Tresor. Renowned for his uncompromising DJ sets and forward-thinking musical vision, he has consistently championed new sounds rather than revisiting the past. His pioneering role in the development of New York techno and his influence on the fusion of techno, industrial, and EBM continue to inspire producers and DJs across the global electronic music community.

With his pioneering legacy, influential productions, and unwavering dedication to underground electronic music, Adam X remains one of techno's most respected artists. Get your tickets now at Tickets.ca.
