After

After is coming near you with alternative pop that brings together trip hop, pop rock, and breakbeat.

The Los Angeles duo is made up of Graham Epstein and Justine Dorsey. Also known as aftertheband, the project works within an aesthetic that Rolling Stone has connected to Y2K-inspired pop. Their music combines electronic influences with a strong sense of melody, creating a sound that does not settle into one single genre.

After's catalogue includes two EPs, After EP and After EP 2, later brought together on the EP 1 + EP 2 compilation. The duo has also released Deep Diving, Outbound, Cold, Promise (When You Go), Take Me To Sunrise, and Fell Asleep in the Sun, which also gives its name to their debut album. Across these songs, After combines pop melodies, electronic textures, and breakbeat rhythms while keeping songwriting and production at the centre of its work. With a growing discography and a sound located between alt-pop and trip hop, Graham Epstein and Justine Dorsey establish After as an emerging name in California's independent music scene.
