Al-Sarwib is coming to a venue near you with a unique blend of desert blues, psychedelic rock, folk, and world music. Formed in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, in 2016, the seven-piece band has built a distinctive sound by combining asymmetrical rhythms with African, Middle Eastern, and alternative rock influences. Their music emphasizes storytelling and atmosphere, creating immersive compositions inspired by travel, desert landscapes, and cultural exchange.
Since its formation, Al-Sarwib has released the albums Mesa in 2017 and Loin des Terres in 2021. Popular tracks include Hamada, Mirage, Les Terres Abandonnées, Sur La Mer, and Positive Louies. The band's recordings unfold as musical narratives that blend blues, psychedelia, folk, and global influences into a cohesive artistic vision. Al-Sarwib has also appeared at festivals including the Paléo Festival while expanding its creative universe through visual storytelling and music videos.
With its adventurous sound, imaginative songwriting, and genre-defying style, Al-Sarwib continues to stand out on the European alternative music scene. Get your tickets now at Tickets.ca.
