Alexandra Lost

Alexandra Lost is coming to a venue near you with a distinctive musical project that has earned recognition within Quebec’s independent electro-pop scene. Formed in 2017, Alexandra Lost brings together songwriter Jane Ehrhardt and composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Simon Paradis. Although Ehrhardt grew up in New Brunswick and Paradis in Quebec, both artists developed a passion for music at an early age and spent years building their own creative careers before joining forces. Their collaboration resulted in a unique sound that blends electronic music, pop, folk, and hip-hop influences while maintaining a strong focus on songwriting and atmosphere.

The duo first gained attention through the singles Strange Game and Towers, which introduced listeners to their synth-driven style. In 2020, they released their self-titled debut album Alexandra Lost, a project praised for its memorable melodies, modern production, and fusion of contemporary and retro influences. Their growing catalog also includes notable songs such as Fleeting Dance, Modern Feelings, Boats, Going Down, and Orange. Drawing inspiration from synth-pop, post-punk, folk, and electronic music, Alexandra Lost has developed a sound that stands apart within Canada’s independent music landscape.

In 2024, the duo released Smoke, an album that further expanded their artistic direction by incorporating elements of trip-hop, R&B, pop, and folk. Through a steadily growing discography and a commitment to creative exploration, Alexandra Lost continues to establish itself as an important voice in contemporary Canadian independent music.
