Amistat

Amistat is a folk-pop duo made up of twin brothers Josef and Jan Prasil, originally from Germany and now based in Australia.

Known for their breathtaking harmonies and emotionally honest songwriting, they create music that’s deeply heartfelt and warmly human. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Simon & Garfunkel, Ben Howard, and Angus & Julia Stone, Amistat blends acoustic instrumentation with lyrical sincerity, resulting in songs that resonate long after the last note. Tracks like The Coward, Coming Home, and Love and Light showcase their ability to craft intimate soundscapes where vulnerability and strength meet. Their live performances are both tender and captivating, offering audiences a rare glimpse into a bond that is both musical and familial. With every performance, they invite listeners to slow down and connect with something deeper.
