Autoheart

Autoheart is a London-based indie-pop trio consisting of Jody Gadsden (vocals), Simon Neilson (keyboards) and Barney JC (guitar).

Formed in 2011, the band initially performed under the name The Gadsdens before adopting their current moniker. Their music defies easy categorization, blending piano ballads, melancholic pop and lo-fi electronic sounds, all infused with a proudly queer aesthetic. Their debut album, Punch (2013), was praised for its catchy melodies and introspective lyrics. They have since released I Can Build a Fire (2016), Hellbent (2021) and are set to launch Heartlands in August 2025. Their single Stalker's Tango went viral on TikTok, garnering millions of views and boosting their international profile. In 2024, Autoheart embarked on their first North American tour, with notable stops in Vancouver and Edmonton. Their DIY approach, commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community and ability to craft intimate, cinematic performances make them a must-see act.
