Bedouine

Bedouine is coming to your area and is recognized as a Syrian-Armenian American singer-songwriter based in the United States, associated with the contemporary indie folk scene. Her music is built around an intimate and stripped-down style, featuring acoustic guitar, minimal arrangements and personal songwriting influenced by both North American folk traditions and Mediterranean musical sensibilities. Her work often explores themes of identity, displacement, memory and diasporic experience.

Bedouine first gained recognition with her self-titled debut album Bedouine, released in 2017, which established her presence in the indie folk scene through understated compositions and a soft, expressive vocal style. She followed with Bird Songs of a Killjoy in 2019 and Waysides in 2021, further building a cohesive and reflective discography. Her work fits within a contemporary tradition of independent folk music where personal storytelling and subtle sonic detail play a central role.

Bedouine therefore stands as an important voice in today’s indie folk landscape, recognized for the delicacy of her songwriting and the consistency of her artistic vision. Buy tickets on Tickets.ca.
