Blackberry Smoke

Blackberry Smoke is coming near you with the warm, roots-driven sound that has united its fans for more than two decades.

Formed in Georgia in 2000, the American group blends Southern rock, blues, traditional country, and classic rock around the distinctive voice and songwriting of Charlie Starr.

Listeners know Blackberry Smoke through songs such as Good One Comin’ On, One Horse Town, Ain’t Much Left of Me, Pretty Little Lie, and Waiting for the Thunder. The 2012 album The Whippoorwill played a major role in expanding the band’s audience. Holding All the Roses and Like an Arrow later reached number one on Billboard’s country albums chart, while You Hear Georgia topped the Americana/Folk Albums chart in 2021.

In 2024, the group continued its journey with Be Right Here, produced by Grammy Award winner Dave Cobb. The record features Dig a Hole, Little Bit Crazy, Azalea, and Hammer and the Nail, songs exploring personal choices, family, relationships, and hope. Rattle, Ramble and Roll: The Best of Blackberry Smoke, Volume One later brought together many favourites from their catalogue.
