Bombay Show Pig

Bombay Show Pig is coming to a venue near you, bringing their dynamic sound and infectious energy to enthusiasts of indie rock and garage rock. Hailing from Amsterdam, Netherlands, this innovative group garnered significant attention in the early 2010s for their raw musicality and highly melodic compositions. Originally formed as a powerful duo consisting of guitarist and vocalist Mathias Janmaat alongside drummer and vocalist Linda van Leeuwen, the project quickly established a distinct presence within the European alternative music scene through a minimalist yet deeply impactful sonic approach.

The band’s recording career reached a definitive milestone in 2012 with the release of their highly acclaimed debut studio album, titled Vulture / Provider. This record, defined by driving rhythms, sharp guitar riffs, and intricate vocal harmonies, features standout tracks such as Sancho Panza, Fingerprints, and Stuck in a Day. The critical success of this debut allowed the formation to climb independent music charts and solidify their reputation as meticulous studio creators, earning praise from specialized media across the continent.

Throughout their artistic journey, the musicians expanded their sonic palette by integrating elements of psychedelic pop and indie pop into their garage rock foundation. Around 2015, the formation chose to transition their artistic identity by shortening their name to Bombay, marking a brand-new creative chapter that culminated in the release of the album Show Your Teeth in 2016. Their studio achievements and ability to continually reshape independent rock music make them a highly respected name among alternative music connoisseurs globally.
