Bonbon Vodou is coming near you with a musical world that connects French chanson, Creole influences, maloya, sega, Indian Ocean rhythms and a deeply mixed cultural spirit. The duo brings together Oriane Lacaille, an artist from a well known Réunionese musical family, and JereM, a French singer songwriter associated with inventive instrumentation, vivid lyrics and handcrafted sounds. Together, they create music that moves between French, Réunion Creole and popular traditions shaped by travel, memory and rhythm.
Bonbon Vodou released its debut album, African Discount, in 2017. The record introduced the duo's identity through French language songwriting enriched by Réunion, light grooves, complementary voices and a strong sense of storytelling. The group continued with Cimetière Créole in 2021, an album featuring songs such as Karma with Laura Cahen, Rituel with René Lacaille, Petit Palace with Sages comme des sauvages, Si rogré with Piers Faccini, La flemme, Le pied dans la tombe and Léger.
In 2024, Bonbon Vodou released the EP Afrodiziak in an expanded format called Bonbon Vodou Piment Piment. In 2025, the duo added Épopée Métèque to its discography, a third album announced on its official website with contributions from the Piment Piment lineup, including Juliette Minvielle, Yann-Lou Bertrand, Roland Seilhes and Héloïse Divilly.
