Bonnie Doon

Bonny Doon is coming near you with a sound that blends indie rock, folk rock, alt-country and melodic guitar pop. Formed in Detroit in 2014, the band features Bill Lennox, Bobby Colombo and Jake Kmiecik. Over the years, Bonny Doon has earned recognition through thoughtful songwriting, understated arrangements and a collaborative creative process that defines the group's identity.

The band first released a self titled EP in 2015 before issuing its debut full length album, Bonny Doon, in 2017 through Salinas Records. It followed with Longwave in 2018, a record that further established its relaxed blend of warm guitars and reflective songwriting. Notable songs from this period include Lost My Way, I See You, Summertime Friends, Long Wave, A Lotta Things and I Am Here (I Am Alive).

Beginning in 2020, members of Bonny Doon also became part of Waxahatchee's touring band around the release of Saint Cloud. That collaboration led into new projects, including the single San Francisco featuring Katie Crutchfield, before the release of Let There Be Music in 2023 on Anti-. The album includes San Francisco, Crooked Creek, Let There Be Music, Maybe Today, Naturally, Roxanne and On My Mind.

With music built around memorable melodies, vocal harmony and understated songwriting, Bonny Doon has established itself as a respected name in today's American indie rock scene. Buy your tickets on Tickets.ca now and follow the next chapter of Bonny Doon's career.
