brakence takes the stage with a bold and emotionally charged sonic experience.
brakence, the Columbus, Ohio-born artist, has carved out a distinctive space in the alt-music scene by blending hyperpop, emo, rock, and electronic elements with raw vulnerability. Known for tracks like dropout and his acclaimed album hypochondriac, he tackles themes like anxiety, self-discovery, and existential doubt with unfiltered honesty. His unique use of auto-tune, glitchy production, and unexpected shifts creates a soundscape that’s chaotic yet deeply human. In concert, brakence delivers high-energy, heartfelt performances that connect on a visceral level.
