Hailing from Annecy, France, this dynamic duo consists of lead vocalist Low Bird and keyboardist Jimmy Q. Together, they have successfully carved out a distinctive, retro-futuristic sonic identity that masterfully blends elements of dark cold wave, glamorous Italo-disco, and 1990s French touch. Renowned for their colorful sequined outfits and cinematic stage presence, the group brings a deeply organic and irresistible dance groove to the European alternative scene.
The group's recording career is defined by meticulous studio arrangements and a steady stream of acclaimed electronic releases. The duo first gained widespread attention with the release of their debut EP, Photographic Memory, in 2016, which showcased engaging tracks like Special Way, This Is Real, and It Doesn't Matter to You. Caspian Pool maintained their creative momentum with the launch of their 2018 EP, Insider, a sophisticated project produced alongside Julien Galner of the prominent French outfit Château Marmont. Their growing discography also features the standout 2020 release Hot, containing the popular tracks Hot and Right / Wrong, as well as independent singles like Suv Call (2019), B.I.T.U.
