Cayucas

Cayucas is coming to a venue near you, led by American musician Zach Yudin, known for his bright indie pop sound influenced by surf rock, alternative pop and nostalgic melodic songwriting. Based in California, Cayucas emerged as part of the early 2010s indie scene with a style that blends catchy hooks, airy production and a distinctly West Coast aesthetic.

Cayucas gained recognition with the release of the debut album Bigfoot in 2013 on the label Secretly Canadian. The album featured tracks such as Cayucos, Jessica WJ and High School Lover, helping establish the project’s early identity within the indie pop landscape. The project continued with Dancing at the Blue Lagoon in 2015, followed by Real Life in 2017 and Moons Out in 2020, each release expanding its sound while maintaining a consistent artistic direction.

Across its discography, Cayucas has developed a recognizable musical style that draws on retro pop influences, clean production and lyrical themes centered on nostalgia, relationships and California imagery. The project is characterized by its focus on melodic simplicity and polished yet understated arrangements, contributing to its standing within contemporary indie pop.

With multiple full-length albums and a consistent artistic identity, Cayucas remains a notable name in modern indie pop music. Get your tickets now at Tickets.ca.
