Cédric Dind-Lavoie

Cédric Dind-Lavoie invites you to a sonic exploration where erudition and passion converge, orchestrated by this multifaceted Montreal-based creator.

This composer and multi-instrumentalist dedicates his talent to the stage, to producing discographical works, and to conceiving scores for dance, theater, and documentary film. His musical journey is rich: a debut jazz work took shape in 2015 with the Mismar ensemble, followed by a solo piano collection released on the British label Preserved Sound. More recently, his album Archives weaves a fascinating dialogue between folklore recordings from Francophone America and contemporary, introspective compositions. Expect a performance that transcends genres, an immersion into a universe where every note is thoughtful, every melody a journey, promising an evening that is as intellectual as it is moving.
