Chance The Rapper

Chance the Rapper is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Chicago, known for blending hip-hop with gospel, soul, and jazz influences.

Born Chancelor Johnathan Bennett in 1993, he rose to prominence in 2013 with the release of his mixtape Acid Rap, a project that gained international attention for its authenticity and artistic independence. In 2016, he achieved major success with Coloring Book, which earned three Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album, making history as the first streaming-only album to win such an award.

Rejecting offers from major record labels, Chance focuses on self-production and free music distribution, solidifying his position as an independent force in an industry dominated by big labels. His lyrics explore personal, spiritual, and social themes, while his distinctive voice and vibrant stage presence captivate audiences worldwide. He has collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Kanye West, Justin Bieber, and Childish Gambino, all while remaining deeply committed to community initiatives in Chicago.
