Chaude Chaleur

Chaude Chaleur is coming near you with a vibrant blend of French-language pop, R&B, neo-soul, disco and jazz that invites listeners into the groove.

Based in Montreal, the group grew from a friendship formed at Cégep de Saint-Laurent. Its lineup features Nomile Leclair on vocals, Vincent Saintonge on drums and percussion, Mathieu Leguerrier on keyboards, Mathieu Lampron on guitar and Albertine Poirier on bass. Their connection supports a collective creative process in which improvisation and jamming play a role.

Chaude Chaleur refuses to remain inside a single musical category. The band names Erykah Badu and Les Louanges among its influences while developing a warm identity built around rich harmonies, danceable rhythms and soulful accents. Chambre noire, its first released single, introduced listeners to this colourful musical world.

The group participated in the Francouvertes and advanced to the semifinals of the competition dedicated to emerging French-language talent. Its debut EP continues this exploration by bringing together R&B, neo-soul, disco and jazz through direct, inviting songs. For fans eager to discover fresh music from Quebec, Chaude Chaleur offers a generous, inclusive and personality-filled sound shaped by friendship, curiosity and a shared love of groove.
