Choeur Gai de Montréal

The Choeur Gai de Montréal is one of Quebec's best known community choirs and an important part of Montréal's cultural landscape. Founded in 1991, the non profit organization brings together singers from diverse backgrounds in an inclusive environment where music, community and diversity are at the heart of its mission. Over the years, the Choeur Gai de Montréal has helped promote choral music while supporting the visibility of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.

The choir's repertoire spans a wide range of musical styles, including popular music, classical works, musical theatre, jazz, French language songs and contemporary choral arrangements. This artistic diversity allows the ensemble to present varied programs that highlight both the richness of choral music and the talent of its members.

Throughout its history, the Choeur Gai de Montréal has participated in numerous cultural and community events, while also taking part in choral festivals and international gatherings. The ensemble is a member of GALA Choruses, an organization that connects 2SLGBTQIA+ choirs across North America and beyond, encouraging artistic collaboration and cultural exchange.

With more than three decades of commitment to choral music, inclusion and community engagement, the Choeur Gai de Montréal continues to play a meaningful role in Quebec's cultural life. Buy your tickets on Tickets.ca now and discover the Choeur Gai de Montréal.
