Clara Roy-Jensen

Clara Roy-Jensen is coming to a venue near you with sensitive, contrasting pop where the warmth of Latin influences meets synthesizer textures and personal songwriting.

A singer-songwriter from an artistic family, Clara Roy-Jensen developed her connection to music through studies in pop piano and jazz vocals. Her work brings together lyrics shaped by poetry and directness, along with arrangements that can move from rock to bossa nova. References to French-language song, Latin music, and established singer-songwriter traditions also inform her creative path.

Her debut EP, Divinité profane, contains five songs: Divinité profane, Les sentiers, Mon amour, Dans ma tête, and L'enfer. The project explores density, luminosity, and freedom through pop that connects intuition and structure. Les sentiers and Mon amour were among the first releases to introduce this world.

Clara Roy-Jensen works with Juliette Décarie on keyboards, Thomas Godbout on drums, Tricia Picard on bass, and NJ Delisle-Giguère on guitar. Together, these collaborators contribute to an intimate yet expansive identity built on contrasts between past and present sounds.
