Cortisa Star is coming near you with a rap approach that emerged from social media and digital culture.

The American rapper was raised in Delaware and began releasing music in the early 2020s. Her track Fun, released in February 2024, gained viral attention on TikTok and Twitter and introduced her name to a wider audience. The singles Cortisa Crump and Bad ASF also belong to her early releases.

Her work combines rap, hyperpop, drill, and bass-heavy production. In 2025, Cortisa Star released her debut EP, E.M.O. (Evil Motion Overload), which includes ALOT, FITS, Cortisa Crump, Misidentify, and Paris. That same year, she made her runway debut for Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week, an experience addressed in Paris. She continued releasing music in 2026 with BANDZ IN OUR PURSE, Black Belt, and SWERVIN. Driven by an online presence that helped listeners discover her music, Cortisa Star is rapidly building a catalogue between experimental rap and electronic pop references. Her path reflects the rise of independent artists who use digital platforms to reach new audiences.
