Culture Wars

Culture Wars is coming near you with alternative pop that pairs guitar-driven rock with direct, modern melodies. Formed in Austin, Texas, the band includes Alex Dugan, Caleb Contreras, Josh Stirm, Dillon Randolph, and David Grayson. Their music draws from indie rock and alt-rock while maintaining an ambitious pop approach. Culture Wars has developed an identity shaped by accessible hooks, guitar arrangements, and songwriting focused on relationships, introspection, and the desire for change.

Leave Me Alone was an early milestone for the group and appeared on the soundtrack to Bill & Ted Face the Music. It also opens the Teche EP, whose song Faith reached Billboard's Alternative Radio chart. Culture Wars later added It Hurts, Miley, Heaven, Slowly, Wasting My Time, and Typical Ways to its catalogue, with Typical Ways becoming a top 20 Alternative Radio hit. Signed to AWAL, the band then released its debut album, Don't Speak, produced by guitarist Caleb Contreras. Through this discography, Culture Wars has established itself as an American band to watch in the renewed alternative rock landscape.
