Death From Above

Death From Above 1979 will catapult you into a blast of fierce, minimalist rock, where distorted bass reigns supreme and drums pound out propulsive rhythms.

This explosive Canadian duo, hailing from Toronto, composed of Jesse F. Keeler on bass (with no conventional guitar) and Sebastien Grainger on drums and vocals, has forged an instantly recognizable sound, blending dance-punk, noise rock, and raw energy. Their music, dense and chaotic, is a sonic assault that takes no prisoners. Cult albums like You're a Woman, I'm a Machine and flagship tracks such as Romantic Rights defined their era, while more recent works like Is 4 Lovers continue to prove their relevance. Expect an intense and visceral live performance, a torrent of decibels and sweat that will leave you electrified and speechless.
