Didier Wampas Psycho Attack

Didier Wampas Psycho Attack is coming to a venue near you with a special project celebrating the early psychobilly years of Les Wampas. Led by Didier Wampas, this dedicated lineup revisits the band's earliest material, when its sound was deeply rooted in psychobilly and rockabilly. The group features Didier Wampas on vocals alongside Effello on guitar, Gaybeul on drums and Thomas on upright bass, faithfully recreating the spirit of Les Wampas' original era.

The project focuses on songs from the band's first releases, including Tutti Frutti, along with other early recordings that helped establish Les Wampas as one of France's pioneering alternative rock and psychobilly bands during the 1980s. By returning to this influential repertoire, Didier Wampas Psycho Attack highlights the group's musical roots before its later evolution toward punk rock. The project has appeared at events including Hellfest and major punk and psychobilly festivals, introducing these classic songs to longtime fans and new audiences alike.

By celebrating the origins of Les Wampas with authenticity and energy, Didier Wampas Psycho Attack keeps an important chapter of French psychobilly alive. Get your tickets today on Tickets.ca.
