Eli

Eli is coming near you with flamboyant and personal pop informed by 1990s and 2000s R&B-pop.

Originally from Massachusetts, the American singer-songwriter first built an online following under the name @journalofadoll before committing fully to music. She studied at New York University before moving to Los Angeles, where she signed with Mark Ronson's Zelig Records in partnership with RCA. Her aesthetic draws from artists including Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears.

Her debut concept album, Stage Girl (Not a Dream Anymore), follows a search for fame, love, identity, and self-acceptance. Marianne, Girl of Your Dreams, Like A Girl, and Falsetto are among the songs associated with the project, whose deluxe edition expands its world. As a trans artist, Eli also brings her own journey to her music and presents pop as a space for affirmation. Her work earned her a GLAAD Media Award nomination for Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist. With Stage Girl, Eli has emerged as a rising voice in contemporary American pop.
