YUYU

YUYU is coming to a venue near you with an independent project that blends rap, trap, neo-soul, R&B, and experimental sounds, created by singer-songwriter and producer Yoah Ouimet.

YUYU builds his world through personal songwriting and production informed by multiple influences. The EP Food Coma includes Lunch, Slice, Drips, and Quik. Miguel Zuniga appears on Lunch and Quik, while Rex is featured on Drips. The releases Chance, Les epinettes, Vitamix, and On deck further expanded this developing catalogue.

With the EP Dauphin, YUYU delivered Intro de cowboy, Unlock, Dodo featuring Jamaz, and Respire featuring Rex. The EP Backflip added Y va faire un backflip, Waon, PLEASE, and Trop sweet to his catalogue. These projects highlight his collaborative practice and his interest in moving between the textures of rap, R&B, and neo-soul.

A guitarist, YUYU also brings organic instruments into his compositions. He is now steering his work toward more singing, guitar, and songcraft while retaining its hybrid foundations. His path reflects a cohesive evolution driven by creative exploration and artistic independence.
