Written by Quebec playwright Marie-Hélène Larose-Truchon and directed by Sébastien David, this comedy uses Britney Spears as a symbol rather than presenting a direct biography of the pop artist.

The story begins when a girl and her grandmother are interrupted by the arrival of a man. The girl escapes, beginning a game of cat and mouse in which every exit leads to another trap. Across twelve comic scenes, Britney attempts to break free from the role imposed by the entertainment industry.

She becomes a correctional officer, a single mother, a nurse, the Virgin Mary, Cinderella and Marilyn Monroe. These transformations allow the play to confront patriarchy, capitalism, sexism and the commercialization of the female image.

Coproduced by MOTTO and ESPACE GO, the work features Sophie Cadieux, Dominique Quesnel, Marie-France Lambert, Stéphanie Cardi, Lula Brouillette-Lucien and Guillaume Tremblay.
