Eric Chenaux

Eric Chenaux, the enigmatic Canadian artist renowned for his genre-defying music, invites you to an intimate and captivating evening of sonic experimentation!

Originally from Toronto and now based in France, Chenaux is a true avant-garde crooner whose unique sound fuses experimental folk, jazz, blues, and a touch of lo-fi pop. He is celebrated for his distinctive electric guitar playing, often abstract and laden with deep vibrato that gives his notes a singular, almost vocal quality. His warm, smooth voice, in contrast to the sometimes distorted textures of his guitar, creates a hazy and enveloping dreamlike atmosphere.

With a long career dating back to the late 90s, Eric Chenaux has released acclaimed albums on labels like Constellation Records, including "Dull Lights" (2014) and "Slowly Paradise" (2017), both longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. His poetic lyrics explore love and melancholy with philosophical depth.
