Evangéline

Evangéline comes to life on stage in a powerful musical production that blends memory, love, and a modern artistic vision.

Featuring standout performances by Maude Cyr-Deschênes, Olivier Dion, Matthieu Lévesque, Nathalie Simard, Océane Kitura Bohémier-Tootoo, and Laurent Lucas, this sweeping show revisits a defining moment in Acadian history. Through the journey of Évangéline and Gabriel—lovers torn apart by the 1755 Deportation—the story explores exile, identity, and the enduring strength of a people, while honouring the deep connections to Mi’kmaq lands in present-day Nova Scotia. With striking visuals and a deeply emotional score, this epic retelling resonates with beauty, heartbreak, and cultural legacy.
