Everybody Knows Leonard Cohen

Everybody Knows Leonard Cohen celebrates the work and legacy of one of Canada’s important singer-songwriters.

Created and led by Adam Cohen, this official family production marks the tenth anniversary of the passing of the Montreal poet, novelist and musician.

For the first time, Adam Cohen is joined by his son, Leonard Cohen’s grandson, giving the tribute a dimension connecting three generations. The production pairs defining songs from Cohen’s catalogue with selected archival photography and film. Visual design comes from Montreal creative studio Moment Factory.

Leonard Cohen built a body of work recognized for its poetry, spiritual depth and reflections on love, faith, loneliness and the human condition. Suzanne, Hallelujah, Dance Me to the End of Love, Everybody Knows, I’m Your Man and You Want It Darker rank among his most familiar compositions. His influence extends beyond Canadian songwriting, with his songs interpreted by artists across generations and musical styles.

Everybody Knows is the first official tribute tour produced by the Cohen family since the 2017 memorial celebration at Montreal’s Bell Centre. For longtime admirers and new listeners, the project continues the memory of an artist forever connected to Montreal.
