Fleur de peau

Fleur de peau is a bold synth-pop project born from the collaboration between multi-instrumentalist Louis Fernandez and vocalist Élie Dubois-Sénéchal. Their sonic identity, both melancholic and impactful, is rooted in a resolutely modern aesthetic while honoring strong 80s influences. Through poetic lyrics, the duo authentically explores Queer and feminist realities, offering an artistic proposition that blends the urgency of living with great emotional depth.

The Fleur de peau live experience unfolds in a fascinating balance between shadow and light, where bright synthesizers meet guitars that range from lo-fi to abrasive. On stage, drum beats tinged with reverb create a hypnotic foundation for Élie’s soft and precise voice, at times reminiscent of French pop icons. This duality between delicate vocal melodies and dissonant instrumental arrangements ensures total immersion in a rich and textured soundscape.

Each performance is an invitation to feel the tension between violence and extreme sweetness, a sensory journey where chaos and beauty coexist harmoniously. It is a moment of intimate sharing where music becomes the vehicle for a search for strong emotions and truth. Attending their performance means agreeing to dive into a dreamlike atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression through its sensitivity and raw intensity.
