Fred Fortin

Fred Fortin invites you to an evening of alternative rock where raw authenticity meets biting poetry, all infused with a distinctly Quebecois spirit.

An iconic figure on the local music scene, this singer-songwriter from Saguenay is renowned for his unique universe, abrasive riffs, and lyrics that are often quirky, sometimes melancholic, always memorable. Cult albums like Planter le décor, Plastrer la lune, and Ultramarr have marked a career rich in sonic experimentation, proving his ability to navigate between garage rock, wild blues, and soulful ballads.

Expect an explosive live performance, a concert where the energy is palpable and Fred Fortin's straightforwardness creates a direct and unvarnished connection with his audience. It's a unique opportunity to be swept away by an artist whose work is as singular as it is impactful.
