Goat is an enigmatic Swedish alternative music collective that has taken the global psych-rock scene by storm with their genre-bending sound and mysterious public persona. Hailing from the remote village of Korpilombolo according to their own lore, the band members maintain complete anonymity by performing in elaborate masks and costumes, adding a layer of intrigue and mythology to their art. Their musical style is a thrilling fusion of experimental rock, afrobeat, funk, and world music influences, creating a hypnotic and rhythmic wall of sound that defies easy categorization and captivates listeners with its raw intensity and groove.
The band first gained widespread acclaim with their debut album, "World Music," in 2012, which was praised for its infectious rhythms and psychedelic exploration. They have since built an impressive discography with successful albums like "Commune," "Oh Death," and the recent "Medicine," consistently delivering tracks that blend fuzzy guitars with driving percussion and chanting vocals.
