Gogol Bordello

Gogol Bordello is a leading band on the international punk scene, renowned for popularizing the gypsy punk genre. Founded in New York by Eugene Hütz, the group stands out through a bold fusion of punk rock, Eastern European folk music, and Latin rhythms. This unique sonic identity relies on varied instrumentation where accordion and violin meet the raw energy of electric guitars, creating a highly vital musical experience.

Since its debut in the late 1990s, the band has built its reputation on a multicultural artistic approach and often socially conscious lyrics. Their compositions, driven by constant rhythmic intensity, celebrate diversity and resilience through global hits. Gogol Bordello remains an essential benchmark for its ability to break down musical boundaries, establishing itself as a symbol of creative freedom and cultural exchange within contemporary alternative music.
