Hyprov

Hyprov is a groundbreaking fusion of stage hypnosis and improvisational comedy, co-created by master hypnotist Asad Mecci and improv legend Colin Mochrie. This innovative production invites audience volunteers to step onto the stage where their self-consciousness is stripped away through hypnosis, leaving only raw creativity. Having enjoyed successful runs in Las Vegas, Off-Broadway, and major international festivals, the show has earned critical acclaim for its unique ability to blend two distinct art forms into one cohesive and hilarious theatrical experiment.

The live experience kicks off with twenty volunteers being guided into a hypnotic state, after which the most receptive individuals are chosen to stay on stage. These participants then join a world-class improviser to perform complex comedic scenes, all while remaining under deep hypnosis. The atmosphere is filled with spontaneous laughter and a sense of wonder as the volunteers react without hesitation to increasingly absurd suggestions. Accompanied by live improvised music, the performance feels like a high-wire act of imagination where anything can happen and often does.

Being part of the audience means witnessing a one-of-a-kind event that can never be replicated. Because the show relies entirely on the subconscious minds of new volunteers and fresh suggestions from the crowd every night, each performance is a completely original journey. There is a profound sense of excitement in watching ordinary people transform into fearless performers under the guidance of experts. It is a captivating exploration of the human mind that promises an evening of pure, uninhibited entertainment and constant surprises for everyone in the room.
