JMSN

JMSN is the stage name of Christian Berishaj, an American singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and music video director originally from the Detroit area. He began recording his own music at age 12 and formed the band Love Arcade, single-handedly creating their album released by Atlantic Records. He shifted to a solo career under the name JMSN in 2012, debuting with Priscilla, an album he wrote, produced, and directed entirely on his own.

Known for an alternative R&B sound infused with soul and electronic elements, he founded the independent label White Room Records to retain creative control. He followed with the EP Pllajë in 2013 and several notable albums such as The Blue Album (2014), It Is. (2016), Whatever Makes U Happy (2017), Velvet (2018), Heals Me (2021), and Soft Spot (2023), all produced independently within his artistic universe.

On stage, he commands full ownership of performances including vocals, instrumentation, and visual production. He has also collaborated with artists like Ab-Soul, Kendrick Lamar and J Cole, producing and featuring on alternative hip-hop tracks. His unwavering dedication to his craft makes him a revered figure in modern indie R&B.
