Kintsugi

Kintsugi, the newest creation by the world-renowned troupe Machine de Cirque, is a dazzling ode to human resilience. Inspired by the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold lacquer, this show transforms our cracks into strengths. The story unfolds in a timeless space, a dreamlike bus stop where strangers' destinies intertwine.

Through breathtaking acrobatic feats and mesmerizing visual poetry, the artists tell the story of how humans can rebuild themselves more beautifully and strongly after hardship. It is a performance where technical virtuosity serves pure emotion, celebrating the beauty of imperfection. The Quebec-based troupe confirms its unique talent for blending engineering, high-level circus, and humanity.
