L'Orchestre d'hommes-orchestres

L'Orchestre d'hommes-orchestres stands as a collective of unbridled artists who transform the stage into a creative laboratory. Hailing from Quebec City, this unique formation revisits the repertoire of iconic figures like Tom Waits with a theatrical and undisciplined approach. The group distinguishes itself through the inventive use of everyday objects repurposed as musical instruments, creating an extraordinary visual and sonic aesthetic that defies the conventions of traditional performance.

The live experience plunges the audience into a chaotic, fairground-like universe where the energy is raw and tangible. On stage, the multi-instrumentalists busy themselves around a motley array of instruments, including kitchen utensils, toys, and modified machinery. This physical and sonic performance generates an electric atmosphere, both chaotic and rigorously orchestrated. Every movement is calculated to support an intense musical interpretation that captivates the audience from the very beginning to the end of the show.

Spectators are invited to live a moment of great emotional intensity, marked by the originality of an uncompromising artistic approach. The exclusivity of this production lies in the symbiosis between stage performance and sonic research. This show offers a total immersion into a rich imagination, leaving a lasting impression of freedom and boldness.
