La Fouine

La Fouine is a French Moroccan rapper and songwriter born in Trappes, France, who became one of the leading figures in French rap throughout the 2000s and 2010s.

He gained mainstream recognition with his album Bourré au son in 2005, followed by greater success with Aller retour in 2007, featuring popular tracks such as Qui peut me stopper and Reste en chien. Over the years, La Fouine released several successful projects, including Mes repères in 2009 and Drôle de parcours in 2013, the latter reaching number one on the French charts. His style blends introspective storytelling with more mainstream hits, allowing him to connect with a wide audience. Alongside his music career, he founded the label Banlieue Sale and helped introduce new artists to the scene.

On stage, La Fouine is known for his high energy performances and his ability to unite different generations of fans through both his classic hits and newer material. His longevity and artistic evolution make him a key figure in the French speaking urban music scene.
