In this 45-minute solo work, a narrator describes the gradual downward spiral that follows her breakup and the resulting mental health crisis. Her story reveals the effects of a relationship shaped by excessive seduction, devaluation and emotional destruction.

Through memories, diary entries and direct narration, she examines the stages that caused her to lose her sense of stability. The production uses drowning as an image of control, isolation and the struggle to reach the surface after a deeply unsettling experience.

This creation addresses heartbreak with honesty while highlighting the patterns of a suffocating relationship and the consequences such dynamics can have on mental health.

Intended for audiences aged 16 and older, LA NOYADE offers an intimate account of pain, realization and survival after emotional devastation.
