Le Quebec est un pays scandinave

=Le Québec est un pays scandinave is a bold, multidisciplinary stage performance that offers a striking reflection on identity, both intimate and collective. Somewhere between theater, poetry, and social commentary, this introspective work explores with humor and intelligence the often-cited parallel between Quebec and Nordic nations. The show questions our relationship with the territory, winter, and our societal ideals.

Far from traditional political speeches, the piece uses autofiction to critique the Americanization of culture while dissecting this Scandinavian fantasy. On stage, the live manipulation of lighting and soundscapes creates an immersive atmosphere where the individual "I" dialogues with the national "we." It is a narrative that is both funny and touching, challenging the audience to reflect on their own roots.
