Manuel Shink

Manuel Shink is coming to a venue near you with a contemporary dance practice that blends performance, physical theatre, and explorations of identity. Based in Montreal, the choreographer and performer creates works inspired by Japanese butoh, experimental movement, and visual performance, using the body to question social norms, gender, and transformation.

Throughout his career, Manuel Shink has presented original works at contemporary dance events and festivals. His solo piece La mécanique des dessous explores gender fluidity through a series of shifting archetypes, combining movement, imagery, and performance art. He also participated in Tangente's New Waves series, a showcase for emerging choreographers, where his work was recognized for its distinctive visual language and theatrical approach. Beyond his artistic practice, he has contributed to cultural and community initiatives in Montreal.

With his innovative choreography, interdisciplinary vision, and thoughtful exploration of identity, Manuel Shink continues to build a distinctive voice in contemporary dance. Get your tickets now at Tickets.ca.
