Northcote

Northcote, the folk-rock project led by Canadian singer-songwriter Matthew Goud, is renowned for its gravelly vocals and deeply personal storytelling. Transitioning from a hardcore background to a rich acoustic sound, the artist has developed a musical identity that blends raw energy with poetic vulnerability. His songs successfully capture the essence of vast landscapes and authentic human journeys through evocative melodies.

The live experience is characterized by an intimate atmosphere where every note feels heavy with meaning. On stage, the balance between powerful vocal displays and stripped-back acoustic moments creates a captivating dynamic for the audience. The energy shared transforms the venue into a space of communal storytelling, where the closeness between the performer and the crowd becomes a central element of the show.

Attending a Northcote performance offers a deep immersion into a world filled with nostalgia and resilience. The exclusivity of these moments lies in the pure emotion radiating from the lyrics, resonating with those seeking a genuine connection through music. It is an invitation to experience a memorable evening defined by a charismatic stage presence and undeniable raw talent.
