Piece of Mind Collective + Maude Lecours & Gabrielle Marquis presents a double bill that brings together live arts, research, and shared human experiences.
The first work, Piece of Mind: Parkinson's, explores life with Parkinson's disease. It combines dance, circus, theatre, and testimony to connect lived stories with scientific knowledge. The creation is co-created with people living with Parkinson's, their loved ones, neuroscientists, and artists. It considers the relationships between body, mind, communication, and everyday adaptation. The collective was founded by Naila Kuhlmann, a researcher in neuroscience, live arts, and social innovation, and is artistically co-directed with Jérémie Robert.
The second work, Regarde ailleurs, by Maude Lecours and Gabrielle Marquis, brings together contemporary dance and live music. Its starting point is a dialogue about boundaries between children and people who have experienced homelessness. The creators developed their approach through artistic exchanges with both groups. Maude Lecours is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in contemporary dance and the founder of the Flamant company. Gabrielle Marquis works primarily in music and sound arts.
Together, these works highlight artists using collaborative processes to address social and neurological realities through movement, sound, and dialogue.
