Australian guitarist and composer Plini Roessler-Holgate, from Sydney, first released music under the name Halcyon before adopting the name Plini. His work is marked by melodic guitar writing and compositions that give a central role to texture, rhythm, and harmony. This instrumental focus keeps the guitar at the centre of each composition.
His catalogue includes the albums Handmade Cities, Impulse Voices, and An Unnameable Desire, along with the EPs Other Things, Sweet Nothings, The End of Everything, Sunhead, and Mirage.
