Prateek Kuhad

Prateek Kuhad is coming to a city near you with his delicate, intimate and melodic take on indie folk.

Originally from Jaipur, India, the singer-songwriter has established himself as one of the leading figures in India's independent music scene while building an international career. Singing in both Hindi and English, Kuhad is known for his introspective songwriting and understated arrangements that blend folk, pop and soft rock influences.

Prateek Kuhad achieved a major international breakthrough with cold/mess, which gained further attention when Barack Obama included it on his list of favorite songs of 2019. He continued his rise with songs including Kasoor, Co2, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and Tum Jab Paas, which have become some of the most popular tracks in his catalog. His 2022 album The Way That Lovers Do further developed his folk-pop sound through songs exploring love, relationships and human connection.

In 2026, Kuhad began a new chapter with Full Moon Chamber, his third studio album, featuring tracks such as You Make It Easy, Blush and If I Cannot Be Yours. With a career that has taken him to audiences across North America, Europe and Asia, he continues to bring Indian independent music to listeners around the world.
