Queens of the Stone Age

Queens of the Stone Age are a defining force in American alternative rock, founded in 1996 by Josh Homme in California following his time with the legendary band Kyuss.

Known for their hypnotic riffs, gritty energy, and genre-blending sound, QOTSA rose to prominence with albums like Rated R (2000), the critically acclaimed Songs for the Deaf (2002) featuring Dave Grohl on drums, ...Like Clockwork (2013), and most recently, In Times New Roman... (2023), praised for its dark, artful edge.

With a sound rooted in stoner rock, hard rock, and psychedelic influences, the band has created a sonic identity that is both raw and sophisticated. Josh Homme’s distinct voice and the group’s tight instrumentation make every live performance a powerful and immersive experience.
