Royel Otis

Royel Otis are an Australian indie pop duo formed by Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic, who have quickly emerged as one of the most exciting acts in the alternative scene. Hailing from Sydney, they first gained attention in 2021 with their debut EP Campus, a vibrant collection blending bright pop with psychedelic touches. Their music is marked by catchy melodies, dreamy lyrics and inventive production.

They built on that momentum with the 2022 EP Bar & Grill, followed in 2023 by Sofa Kings, a project that showcased their growing maturity and ability to balance accessibility with experimentation. Songs such as Oysters in My Pocket and their cover of Murder on the Dancefloor have brought them wider recognition and an expanding global fan base.

On stage, Royel Otis are celebrated for their refreshing energy and the natural chemistry that shines through in every performance. Their sunny indie pop aesthetic appeals to fans of alternative music as well as those looking for uplifting and modern sounds.
