Salebarbes

Salebarbes brings the raw energy of Acadian kitchen parties to life by merging folk, blues, and bluegrass. This collective, featuring Jonathan and Éloi Painchaud, Kevin McIntyre, George Belliveau, and Jean-François Breau, celebrates Francophone culture with disarming authenticity. Their musical project, born from a desire to reconnect with deep roots, transforms every song into a festive journey through the sonic heritage of the Maritimes and beyond.

The live experience is a true adrenaline rush where vocal harmonies intertwine with the driving rhythms of the fiddle and guitar. Salebarbes turns every venue into a massive gathering where the joy of living is contagious. The chemistry between the group members creates an electric atmosphere, inviting the audience to stomp their feet and sing in unison within an unforgettable, carnival-like setting.

Attending this performance means treating yourself to a vibrant human connection far from the daily grind. The pure emotion emanating from their lyrics and melodies captures the very essence of resilience and pride. It is a rare opportunity to feel the power of a living tradition beating to the rhythm of the present, creating memories that will remain etched in your mind long after the final note.
